Job description – Credit Controller

As our Credit Controller you will be well versed in consumer credit control practice and processes, with excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

All aspects of credit control to include but not limited to:

  • Manage the aged debt book across all regions
  • Maintain aged debt at appropriate levels
  • Actively reduce default rate
  • Contacting customers by telephone and email to chase payment for invoices
  • Liaising between with customers and third party finance providers to provide excellent service.
  • Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring they are reconciled in a timely fashion
  • Cash allocation
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Daily payment run
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

SKILL RANGE:

  • At least 12 months experience in credit control
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Confident speaking on the phone
  • Good mathematical & computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full time Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Salary: £27,000

Expected Start Date: May 2025
